Position: Junior Electronic Engineer

Location of Office: Leicester

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Benefits

The role: A position is now available for a Junior Electronic Engineer to join our client in their Leicester based offices. Our client design, develop and manufacture a range industry leading products and have over 40 years’ experience delivering electronics solutions. This is a chance to join a business using modern technology, building new products with plenty of scope for career advancement.   

This role is for a Junior Electronics Engineer who has a recent relevant qualification (HND or Degree) and has 1-3 years industry experience. You will be given the chance to work in a role where you will get experience across a host of electronics design techniques including PCB design, mixed signal circuits design, hands on bench work and circuit fault finding.

This role will be ideal for a Junior Electronics Engineer who is looking to work in a range of electronics disciplines with a keen eye for detail who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will be working in a small team so can expect plenty of variety in the role and chance to develop your skills quickly with support from experienced Electronic Engineers.

Experience or knowledge of the following is required:

• PCB layout and design
• Circuit prototyping, fault finding and testing
• Electronics equipment: soldering, Oscilloscopes, multi-meters, logic analysers etc

Desirable experience:

• Altium Designer
• Analog circuit design
