Position: Electronic Software Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

Work Location: Vauxhall + Hybrid Work From Home

The Role: An exciting start up in London are now keen to add an Electronics Software Engineer to their growing team working on cutting edge products aimed to improve the quality of farming whilst protecting our natural resources for future generations.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • C/C++ programming – Bare metal
  • 16/32/64 bit microcontrollers – ARM, PIC, NXP etc
  • RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C etc
  • PCB design and layout
  • Digital circuit design

The successful Electronic Software Engineer will be joining a small team in a fast-moving environment, so experience with a start-up or rapid prototyping company will be beneficial. On offer is the chance to contribute across embedded software and electronics design whilst working with like-minded individuals in a modern, open plan office environment.

In this role you will be given the chance to work throughout the full design lifecycle, contributing to both embedded software and electronics design. You will be involved in new concept meetings and can expect tasks to include writing new software, designing electronic circuits, documentation and in house testing whilst working closely with the development team members.

This role will best suit a technical enthusiast who is keen to work on both software and hardware design in a small design team with the chance to make a real impact in the design of a range of new, cutting-edge products that will have a positive impact on the environment.

Desirable Skill and Experience:

  • Bluetooth and other wireless comms
  • EMC design
