SALARY: £45,000-50,000 per annum

LOCATION OF WORK: Congleton and Remote Working


A leading electronic instrumentation business with offices globally and a wide product portfolio is looking for a C# .Net Software Engineer to join its team.

You will be joining a team of 6 Software Developers working on brand new C# .Net developments. The businesses current desktop and web applications (which connect to its embedded software/ electronic instrumentation products are currently programmed in C++). The business has decided to modernise its software and has made the decision to move from C++ to C# .Net. This presents an exciting time to join the company as you will be writing all new C# .NET code.

Your role will be to write new desktop and web applications in C# .NET. Complex and very important data which has been collected from the embedded software/ electronic products is stored on a SQL database. Experience writing applications which present information from a SQL database would therefore be highly desirable.

It would also be beneficial if you understand embedded/ electronic devices and the peripherals which connect from a device, to a database and application.

Aside from having the technical skills, you should be enthusiastic and excited by the opportunity to drive the business forward with modern software technology. The Software Development Manager is really wishing to be at the forefront of technology, and someone who shares this vision will be a great addition to the team.

For this role you could be an experienced C# .NET developer for Embedded/ Electronic devices, or you could be a Junior Software Developer with high energy who has a background knowledge of Engineering/ Hardware products.
