The Role:

A leading electronics company based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a talented Device Test Technician to join their team on an initial 6-month assignment.

This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge medical products, where you will take a hands-on approach to testing. As a Technician, you will carry out a range of device testing procedures and apply various testing techniques to ensure product reliability and performance. Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer

Location- Lincoln (Hybrid. 3 days onsite per week)

Position: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Buckingham

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Strong Benefits

Our client is continuing to grow their engineering team and are now seeking an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join them. You will have solid industry experience in a similar role, working as a part of a design team where you were responsible for the design and development of the electronics and printed-circuit assemblies for a variety of products.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work across the design of a range of different products across a variety of industries and will be expected to see the design through to completion and release.

The successful Electronic Design Engineer can expect their role to involve:

  • Analogue and digital electronics design and PCB layout including circuit symbol and component footprint creation and component library management.
  • Working closely with colleagues to determine PCB configurations, outlines, interfaces, and interconnects.
  • Collaboration with colleagues to design PCB production test strategies and develop the necessary test platforms and fixtures.
  • Hardware design verification, troubleshooting and debugging, using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and other test equipment.

The ideal Electronics Design Engineer will be degree qualified, have 5+ years industry experience and a skills set that includes:

  • Digital and analogue electronics design skills
  • 5+ years’ overall electronics and multilayer PCB design experience in a commercial environment.
  • Experience using an enterprise level PCB design tool such as Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or Altium Designer
  • Up-to-date technological knowledge including high speed digital design.
  • Good understanding of PCB signal integrity, PCB stack-up, impedance control, ESD mitigation and EMC compliance.
  • A proven track record in both analogue and digital layout and design for test and manufacture.
