Rate: £45-50 per hour (outside of IR35)
Location of office: Brentwood, Essex
Location of work: Hybrid working. 2/3 days a week in the office. The rest of the time remote (you can decide what days to be onsite)
Contract length: 6 months initially

An electronics business who specialises in Smart Grid and Smart Energy IoT products require an Electronic Design Engineer to join their R&D team for an initial 6-month contract.
With huge demand for EV chargers and Net Zero the demand for the businesses smart intelligent products has skyrocketed.
In this role you will have opportunity to enhance existing products with new features and technology, whilst also getting involved in brand new product developments.
For this role you should be an Electronic Design Engineer who also has experience doing PCB design using Cadence or Orcad.
If you would like to work on products and systems that will have a positive impact on climate change and net zero then this will be a fulfilling assignment. This industry sector is very busy as the world relies on electricity increasingly, and products and systems are required to ensure constant electricity supply, whilst also trying to make it as low cost as possible.
- Full electronic design lifecycle experience (concept to EMC)
- Analogue and Digital circuit design
- PCB Design using Cadence or Orcad
- Communication protocol experience e.g. I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, Ethernet
