This is a unique role that blends electronics technician duties with systems testing. As an Engineering Technician with KO2’s client, you will be a key part of the cross-functional team, supporting software developers, hardware engineers, and test teams. You’ll be responsible for building prototypes, testing cable harnesses, and working with electronics systems on HGVs. The role will require 50% hands-on electronics tasks such as soldering, circuit analysis, and fault-finding, and 50% supporting the team with system integration and testing.

The role involves:

  • Electronics tasks, including soldering, PCB fault diagnosis, and cable harness creation.
  • Building prototypes and early samples for proof of concepts.
  • Supporting integration testing on HGVs, ensuring systems are set up and working correctly.
  • Taking ownership of full systems-level testing, ensuring data flows to the cloud and verifying product functionality.
  • Working independently while supporting the hardware and software teams across various technical tasks.

About the Role

This role offers exposure to diverse projects, including:
