Electronic Design Engineer

Position: Electronics Design Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

Location of Office: Rochester

Location of Work: Hybrid WFH Available

The Role: A new role has now been created for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team as they continue to design industry leading devices that are used around the globe. Our client has an excellent reputation in their sector with 40+ years’ experience successfully delivering products and bespoke solutions to their customers. They are now looking for an electronics design engineer who can illustrate experience in a similar role, who is keen to use modern technology to build a new, innovative generation of products.

Skills and experience required:

• Analogue and Digital circuit design
• Multilayer PCB design – Altium ideally
• ARM and/or Microchip PIC processor development
• RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, CANbus etc

You will be joining an existing engineering team of 10 and have the chance to contribute to every aspect of the design life cycle. You will be given plenty of opportunity to develop new skills and use modern design techniques. You should expect plenty of variety in your role and relish the chance to solve complex engineering problems whilst working in a team design environment.

Their office is based in the Rochester area, and they offer hybrid WFH, with plenty of onsite parking available they are easily commutable via large parts of South East London, Maidstone, Canterbury, Folkestone, Dartford and Tunbridge Wells areas.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Digital video technology
• LCD Displays
• Embedded C or Assembler
