Senior Electronic Engineer

Position: Senior Electronic Engineer

Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits

Location of Office: Birmingham

The role: As our client continue to grow their engineering team, they are now seeking an Electronic Design Engineer who will work throughout the full design life cycle developing cutting edge products for the global healthcare sector. Their office is based in the north Birmingham area and they work to a 4 day week, giving everyone a long weekend.

The ideal Electronic Design Engineer will be joining a small, growing team with plenty of new product development to get stuck into straight away. You will be experienced enough to manage your own time and workload and be expected to contribute from initial concept through to in house manufacturing and assembly done onsite.

Python Test Automation Engineer

Position- Python Test Automation Engineer for IoT embedded software device

Rate- up to £55 ph, outside IR35

Contract length- 3 months initially

Location of work- Hybrid. You should be flexible to come onsite when the taskwork requires.

Location of client- West Midlands

The role- An IoT electronics business would like a Python Test Automation Engineer to join their team for an initial 3-month contract. At present they have a codebase which is written in Embedded C on RTOS. The business would like to improve the reliability and robustness of the embedded software as they develop additional features for the product.

Your role will be to develop a Continuous Integration system (most likely Jenkins based) and Python Test Framework in order to achieve the above.

With no test system currently in place, this role provides you opportunity to develop the clients Test Automation System from concept.

Systems Engineer- Automotive

Position: Systems Engineer for EV Automotive project

Location of work: Fully remote

Rate: up to £50 per hour, outside IR35

Contract length: 6 months initially

The Role:

An automotive electronics business requires a Systems Engineer to join them on an initial 6 month that is likely to extend. The Systems Engineer will be working on a brand-new EV automotive product development. The product is a communication module that is used to communicate between the EV vehicle and EV charger.

You will be responsible for capturing and defining the system level requirements from the Functional Safety and Cyber Security standards. These requirements will then be given to the Software Engineers so they can develop the required software solutions.

Skill required:

  • Automotive industry experience
  • FuSa ISO26262/ AUTOSAR experience
  • Capturing and defining System level requirements against Safety Standards

Desirable experience:

  • Electrical vehicle or EV charging experience
  • Cyber Security experience: Certificate Handling/storage

Electronic Test Engineer

Position: Electronic Test Engineer

The Role: As our client continue to grow their engineering team, they are now looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join them. The successful Test Engineer can expect to work in their Coventry based offices and will be able to illustrate 2/3 years industry experience in a similar role testing electronic devices.

Our client develops and builds a range of leading safety products that are manufactured to high volumes and sold throughout Europe. In this role you will play a key role, making sure all designs are fit for purpose before and ready before they go to production.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Electronic device testing
  • Electronics lab equipment – oscilloscopes, soldering, signal generators etc
  • Reading schematics and PCB designs
  • PCB and firmware troubleshooting

This role will best suit a motivated Electronics Test Engineer who is looking for challenging and varied work with the chance to learn and develop new skills within electronics.
