KO2’s client are a Sheffield-based manufacturing business looking for a hands-on CAD Engineer / Draughtsperson to join the team and keep the quotes going out the door. The Role:

You’ll be sat at a CAD station most of the day, churning out accurate, production-ready CAD models and drawings. This is not a pure R&D gig – it’s real-world draughting and order processing.

  • Use DriveWorks to generate models – plug in the numbers, let the system do its thing.
  • When needed, tweak and modify designs – reposition a hole, add a bracket, adjust a part.
  • Prep 2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings for customer approval and manufacturing.
  • Work on a wide range of products
  • It’s about repetition and reliability, not reinventing the wheel every day.
  • You’ll be working onsite in Sheffield, 5 days a week, alongside a laid-back but hard-working team.

  • 2+ years’ experience in a CAD/Draughting role.
  • Solid skills in SolidWorks and some exposure to DriveWorks (or willing to learn it fast).
  • Comfortable with 2D AutoCAD for drawing tweaks and approvals.
