The role: A new position has been created for an Electronics Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team in the York area as they continue to design and develop industry leading products that are used around the globe.

Our client designs a range of electronic instrumentation and measurement devices and are currently looking embarking on the design of their next generation of devices. Working as part of a small team the successful electronics engineer can expect their role to be varied from day to day with the chance to contribute throughout the full life cycle whilst having an input in electronics and software design.

The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance of York and be able to illustrate experience in a similar role and be comfortable with analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout and coding in Embedded C. You will be degree qualified and any experience with ARM Cortex processors, Matlab or LTSpice will really make your CV stand out.

This role will best suit an electronic engineer who enjoys being involved in the full design life cycle, is comfortable with a mixture of design tasks and enjoys working in a small team whist taking ownership of individual tasks and managing their own time.

Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded Linux

Position: Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded Linux

The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will have proven experience in bringing complete products to market, be keen to work on a range of challenging development tasks and be comfortable working within a small team of like-minded engineers.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Technical Project Manager

Salary: up to £60,000

Location of office: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Location of work: 3 days a week onsite, 2 from home.

The business still operates as an SME but has the financial stability of being part of a larger group. Operating as an SME has meant the business remains very innovative and can quickly develop new products and solutions to meet customers requirements.

To be suitable for this role you should be a Technical Project Manager who has managed hardware product developments from concept through to mass volume manufacture. All R&D and Manufacturing takes place in Barnsley, so you will be able to build close relationships with the R&D and Manufacturing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics, either starting their career as Hardware Design Engineer, Firmware Engineer or Mechanical Engineer. Head of Engineering

The Role: A new, exciting position has now been created for a Head of Engineering to join a rapidly growing start up as they work towards the development of their 2nd generation of products. The company works with highly innovative sensor-based technology which is based around complex electronics, mechanical and optical components.

They are looking for a senior level hire who has a technical background and experience of taking complex designs from concept through to the final stages of manufacture. The company design and develop products that use a laser source and amplifies it in a more efficient way to anything currently available on the market. The technology development is gaining interest from some of the most the biggest company names in the electronics sector. These companies are from a wide range of industry sectors that include automotive, defence and telecoms.

As Head of Engineering, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining processes, systems and structure whilst encouraging and directing innovative thinking and creative design. The role: Our client is an electronics business who design and manufacture complex and cutting-edge control systems used in harsh environments. The systems control various aspects, including large robotic and electro-mechanical equipment, video, communication, power and multiple sensors.
