Position: LabVIEW Software Engineer

The Role: A new position has now been created for a LabVIEW Software Engineer to join our client who are a growing software consultancy who specialise in developing complex software and hardware solutions for a host of clients across a variety of industries.

The successful LabVIEW Engineer can expect to work within a small team development environment, working on a variety of projects throughout the full development lifecycle. You will ideally be strong with LabVIEW as well as another popular software language (C#, C++, Python) and be comfortable working to modern coding practices whilst using Unit testing, TDD or continuous integration methodologies.

In this role you can expect plenty of variety working on different projects and using multiple software languages, tools and technologies. You will consider yourself a strong problem solver and enjoy the challenges that developing complex software solutions brings. You should be able to illustrate commercial experience in a similar role and have successful experience delivering software projects that achieve the approved project plans whilst meeting agreed upon time and budget targets.

Skills Required:

LabVIEW

Design patterns – their practical application in complex projects
Unit testing or Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Electronic Electrical Design Engineer

Position: Electronic Electrical Design Engineer

Location of Office: Cramlington

The Role: An exciting new role has now been created for an experienced Design Engineer who has strong practical experience with electrical system and electronic circuit design. In this role you will be given the chance to take a lead role on electrical and electronic design for a host of new systems that will be used throughout the medical, agritech and automated robotics sectors.

Skills and experience required:

Electrical Design – CAD packages, electrical safety, wire sizing etc
Electronic circuit design – mixed signal circuit design, PCB design, schematic capture etc

Our client, a business who are leaders in technical consultancy whilst offering their own bespoke product design arm are looking to recruit a proactive and dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to the team. The business is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can push a design through in a sharp timeframe. This is a role that will allow you to work on multiple designs, there will be clear deliverables in terms of time and cost and hence the business needs problem solvers.

The business needs a Mechanical Design Engineer who can sit in front of a problem and find a solution. The role is varied, and you could be working on the businesses own product which is a complex mechanical system with moving parts, or you could be working on a variety of projects for the consultancy arm such as, sporting design, automation systems or robotic systems.
