The Role: Our client, an industry leading electronics company within the secure wireless communication devices sector are now looking to recruit an Embedded Software Manager to lead the development of their next generation of products. The successful Embedded Software Manager will be leading a growing team of Engineers and be tasked with achieving new product developments whilst supporting legacy products and growing the team.

Although this is a management focussed role the ideal candidate will have a strong embedded design background and recent team leadership or management experience. Their development platform includes: Embedded C, C++, Linux, SPI, I2C, RF, DSP, Bluetooth, Mesh Networks and a range of microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, Nordic etc) so previous experience with the majority is required.

The successful Embedded Software Manager will be joining an established, multidiscipline team and can expect to work closely with other heads of department working on products that include a variety of design components. You can expect your role to involve leading multiple projects, developing the software team, assigning work packages and delivering new products to meet time and budgetary goals.

Electronic Engineer

Position: Electronic Engineer

Location of office: Leeds

The Role: A Leeds based business, who were established over 40 years ago with a presence in over 70 countries and owned by the word leader in pneumatic motion and fluid control are looking to recruit an Electronics Engineer to the team.

The chosen electronics engineer will be working on a new and exciting electronics development which will be used as part of the EV, Green revolution. Electronic Design Engineer

Position: Electronic Design Engineer

The role: Our client, an industry leader throughout Europe and the US are now seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their electronics and software design team in the Durham area. Our client has been developing and manufacturing bespoke solutions for over 30 years and is continuing to grow in 2022.

Their ideal candidate will have industry experience in a similar role and will be comfortable with analogue and digital circuit design and PCB layout (ideally using Altium). You will be an all-round design engineer and enjoy variety and daily design challenges in your role. Whilst any hands-on embedded programming (Bare metal or PIC microcontrollers) or switch mode power supply would make your CV stand out.

Machine Vision Software Engineer

Position: Machine Vision Software Engineer                       

Salary: Up to 60,000

The Role: A start-up electronics business who use AI, machine learning and computer vision technology to drive their 3D camera-based system require a Software Engineer with machine learning/ computer vision experience to join their growing R&D team.

The company specialises is developing smart monitoring and real-time data solutions for the AgriTech sector.

With secure financial investment and high demand globally for their various IoT solutions, the company would like an additional Software Engineer with Machine Learning experience to help achieve their product developments.

You will initially be working on a 3D camera-based system that collects real-time data and presents this on a mobile application. The current system is written in C/C++ on Windows, with the new development to be written in Python on Linux. If you have C++, Python, Windows and Linux experience this would be highly desirable, but having Python or C++, and Linux or Windows experience is fine. Any experience working on 3D vision applications would be advantageous, but not essential.

Aside from having the required programming skills you should have some experience in machine learning/ computer vision. Any deep learning framework experience is desirable but not essential.
