Position: Electronic Software Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000 + benefits

Location of Office: Chorley

The Role: A new position has now been created for an Electronic Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team working towards the design and development of industry leading products for the safety and detection industries. They are British owned, design, develop, test and manufacture all their products in their state of the art, purpose-built facilities in Lancashire.

Skills and experience required:

• Embedded C programming
• Microcontroller design – ARM, STM32, PIC
• Electronic circuit design – analogue and digital desired
• PCB Design and layout

Desirable skills and experience:

• Design for EMC or other safety standards
• Schematic capture
• A range of protocols – SPI, UART, I2C, RS232, RS485 etc

The successful Electronic Software Engineer focus will be the design and development of a range of new products, working closely with likeminded engineers in a multidiscipline engineering team. You will be expected to contribute from initial concept through to in house testing and manufacture and will have the chance to see products you have designed come to fruition.

Working as a key member of a small team you can expect plenty of variety and challenges in your role and the chance to tackle a range of programming challenges whilst working towards the development of new products that will be sold around the world.
