Position: Electronic Electrical Design Engineer

Location of Office: Cramlington

The Role: An exciting new role has now been created for an experienced Design Engineer who has strong practical experience with electrical system and electronic circuit design. In this role you will be given the chance to take a lead role on electrical and electronic design for a host of new systems that will be used throughout the medical, agritech and automated robotics sectors.

Skills and experience required:

• Electrical Design – CAD packages, electrical safety, wire sizing etc
• Electronic circuit design – mixed signal circuit design, PCB design, schematic capture etc
• Hands on bench working – designing, testing and building circuits
• Electrical or Electronics deign based degree.

You will be working as part of fast paced, multidisciplinary engineering team and have the chance to work alongside like-minded mechanical, software and electronics engineers. The team is made up of technology enthusiasts who enjoying designing and building a range of devices using the latest tools and methodologies in their purpose build lab.

This role will best suit a real design allrounder who enjoys being hands on and taking the lead on all technical matters across electrical and electronics design. You will enjoy the variety that working in a multi-industry design team brings and embrace the challenges that come from working in a fast paced prototype environment.

• Embedded Software design
• Rapid prototyping
• Technical or project leadership
