Position: Electronic Engineer
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits
Location of office: Bromsgrove
Our client is now seeking an Electronic Engineer to join their growing team as they work towards the development of their next generation of products. The solutions you will be working on are real life safety and detection devices that are in use across the UK and Europe. Their office is based in the Bromsgrove area near to the mainline train station with plenty of onsite parking available.
This role will best suit an Electronic Engineer with industry experience in a similar, hands-on design role who is keen to develop new, innovative products and take the lead on all aspects of the design life cycle whilst working as part of a small engineering team.

In this role you can expect plenty of variety in your day-to-day tasks whilst working towards the development of their next generation of products. You will consider yourself a strong problem solver and enjoy the challenge that comes with new product design. You will get the chance to contribute throughout the full design cycle and can expect the role to include:
- Develop and design electronic circuits and systems for new products, as well as enhancements and updates for existing products.
- Create and optimize printed circuit board (PCB) schematics and layouts, considering factors such as signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.
- Conduct detailed circuit analysis, calculations, and simulations for optimal performance and reliability.
- Build and test prototypes of electronic hardware to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- EMC/EMI Design
- Altium Designer
- Microcontroller design – ARM, PIC, TI etc
