The Role: A new position has been created for a Software Engineer to join a small development team as they embark on a period of growth. Our client has a cutting-edge visual analysis product at prototype stage and due to customer demand they are now looking to increase the team to enable them to meet new requirements and add custom product functionality.

In this role you will be given the chance to develop a host of new features whilst working alongside an experienced team of Software Engineers. You will be coding in C and C++ within a Windows environment developing real-time applications that handle lots of data collecting from visual sensors and devices. Their system is run of multiple PC devices connected via UDP networks. Working in a small team you will be able to contribute throughout the full design life cycle, be expected to work on individual tasks, manage your own workload and be comfortable working within a small development team.

Systems Design Engineer

Rate: £43-48 per hour (outside IR35)

Location of work: This role can be performed fully remotely

Contract length: 6 months initially (very likely extension with the amount of project work on)

The Role:

Due to winning a large amount of new customer orders our automotive electronics client requires an additional Systems Design Engineer to join the team for an initial 6-month contract.

In this role you will be working on the left-hand side of the V lifecycle. You will be responsible for speaking to Tier 1 and OEM customers to understand and analyse their requirements in full detail.

Once the requirements have been understood you will be required to use a requirements management tool to document the system and sub system requirements. It is important you have requirements management tool experience e.g. DOORS, Jama, Polarion etc.

As well as speaking to customers regularly you will be required to raise tasks and stories using a configuration management tool and communicating these to the Software Engineering team.

The Role: The successful Software Engineer in Test will be joining a small team working on a brand new project, developing real time data collection algorithms for a range of sensors on autonomous vehicles. In this role you will lead all decisions related to test and work closely with a team of software engineers and architects.

The ideal Software Engineer in Test will have experience building and maintaining a testing infrastructure, be familiar with ATDD and BDD principles, be familiar with a range of testing frameworks (cucumber, Robot, FitNesse etc) and have worked with object oriented software languages in a Linux environment.

C++ Linux Software Engineer

The Role:

A Software Engineer with strong C++ Linux development ability is required for an initial 3 month contract which is very likely to extend.

C++ Linux Software Engineer

Rate: £60-66.25 per hour (inside IR35)

The Project:

You will be tasked with porting a complex and exciting Windows C++ application to Linux. For this role you should be a confident Modern C++ programmer who has experience working on Linux (Ubuntu ideally).

A proof of concept has already been done which will provide you useful information for the porting of the application onto Linux.

You will be working part of a small project team on this nicely packaged project. You should be self starting and be comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
