Our client specializes in designing cutting-edge security products for the commercial aerospace sector and is a prominent supplier to leading companies within the industry. As the Electronics Engineer, you will be engaged in both new projects and the support and enhancement of legacy products.

As the successful Electronics Engineer, you will be an integral member of a small design team. Your role will encompass a diverse range of daily tasks within a collaborative team design environment. This position offers the unique opportunity to initiate product designs from scratch and contribute to the entire design lifecycle, including design, prototyping, documentation, and in-house testing.

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in digital and analogue circuit design

• Experience with PCB design and schematic capture

• In-depth understanding of the full design life cycle

• Knowledge of EMC or experience in designing for EMC

Software Engineer

KO2 have recently partnered with a rapidly expanding software solution design business in central Manchester as they continue to grow their team. Our client develops bespoke software solutions for a host of interesting customers around the UK and Europe and are now seeking multiple Software Engineers to join them.

They are looking for experienced Software Engineers who are able to work throughout the full development lifecycle and have experience with most or all of the following:

Embedded Engineer

Position: Embedded Engineer

Salary: Up to £70,000 + benefits

Location of Office: Wigan

The Role: A new position has now been created for an Embedded Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team working towards the design and development of industry leading products for the safety and detection industries. They are British owned and design, develop, test and manufacture all their products in their state of the art, purpose-built facilities in Lancashire.

Skills and experience required:

  • Embedded C programming
  • ARM based microcontrollers
  • RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C etc
  • IAR IDE or similar
  • Knowledge of electronics design

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Analogue circuit design
  • Digital circuit design
  • PCB design and schematic capture

The successful Embedded Design Engineer focus will be the design and development of a range of new products, working closely with likeminded engineers in a multidiscipline engineering team. You will be expected to contribute from initial concept through to in house testing and manufacture and will have the chance to see products you have designed come to fruition.
