KO2 is partnering with a fast-growing IoT company based in Sheffield that is expanding its engineering capability due to continued success and new product development. They are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team and contribute to the design of innovative, connected products used in real-world applications.

This role offers the opportunity to work across full product lifecycles in a company that values strong engineering practices, collaboration, and technical ownership.

The Role

As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware for IoT devices. You’ll work closely with embedded software engineers, mechanical designers, and product teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits for IoT products
• Schematic capture and PCB design
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and validation
• Work closely with embedded engineers to support firmware integration
• Contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making
• Support products through testing, certification, and production

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ industry experience as an Electronics Engineer
• Strong background in analogue and digital circuit design
• Experience with PCB design tools
• Hands-on debugging and testing experience
• Exposure to embedded system design (working alongside or supporting firmware development)

Desirable Experience

• IoT or connected product development
• Low-power design
• Experience working with microcontrollers
• Exposure to embedded software or hardware/firmware integration
