Software Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000

Office Location: York

Location of work: This role can be performed fully remote.

The Role:

Our client is continuing to grow their technology team which is focused on the development of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle software solutions. Their products are at that heart of the next generation of Driver Assistance solutions ensuring the safety of all road users and pedestrians.

In this role the successful Software Engineer will be joining a growing, international software development team and will get the chance to work on a broad range of software products including embedded, high-level applications and software tools. This role will offer the successful Software Engineer plenty of variety in their day-to-day tasks including; software development to agreed upon quality standards, software testing, debugging code, problem solving across a range of platforms and automating development tasks using Python script.

This role can be performed fully remotely and will best suit an software engineer with experience across the full software stack who is a technology enthusiast and keen to work in a challenging but friendly team design environment.

Skills and Experience Required:

• C programming
• Software development experience with Python, Java or C++
• Software application development
• Software testing
• Automation or continuous integration – Jenkins etc
