Position: Software Developer

Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits

Location of Office: Ulverston, Lake District

My client based in the Lake district are looking to recruit a Software Application Developer who will work as part of a very talented team on a variety of projects, creating and coding desktop applications that configure, visualise, and manipulate data collected by the company’s range of acoustic sensor and navigation products.

The chosen software developer will have experience as application developer, or experience/skills planning, designing, and building applications for desktop computers.

The software developer will have experience collaborating with members of the design team to develop software specifications, algorithms, application structure and user-interfaces for new and existing applications. Whilst understanding product and customer requirements and translate them into software application features and operation.

The ideal candidate will be fluent writing program code in C and C++ languages and will enjoy writing high quality and well documented source-code, with an understanding of software design and programming principles combined with an analytical mind set, with good attention to detail and problem-solving experience.
