Position: Software Engineer

Package: Up to £55,000 + Bonus, Healthcare, Pension and 33 days flexi holidays

Location of office: Fully Remote Working

The role: You will be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining a range of software applications (C++ on Linux) whilst working as part of a growing engineering function. You will be expected to focus on quality and functionality as the software solutions will be moving huge amounts of data in real time, and reliability is key to their success.

Ideal Software Engineers will be strong programming with C++ and have proven experience in developing complex middleware applications for a Linux environment. This is the chance to join a new team focussed on new product development with an exciting product roadmap ahead of them. Any experience within the automotive sector or knowledge of Linux driver or kernel development would really make your CV stand out.

The successful Software Engineers will be joining an established, expanding business who pride themselves in developing cutting edge software applications, working to modern development techniques and agile developments methods.

The Company: Our client, a leader in the development of autonomous driving applications and software tools are now seeking experienced Software Engineers to join their growing software engineering team, working on a fully remote basis.

Skills and experience required:

• C++ programming
• Linux
• Middleware development
• Agile development methodologies
• Degree qualified – Computer science or similar

Desirable skills and experience:

• Python or C#
• Linux kernel or driver development
• UI toolkits – Qt, Rviz etc
• Test driven development

Package includes: Salary of up to £55,000, 33 days flexi-holiday, remote working, healthcare, excellent pension and bonus scheme
