Position: Senior C++ Software Engineer

Package: Up to £65,000 salary plus generous pension, Private medical, Life Insurance and more

Location of work: Fully Remote Working

Skills Required:

• C++ – version 14 or 17 ideally
• Linux development – Ubuntu desired
• Source control – SVN, Git etc
• Full development lifecycle experience

The Role: An established electronics business in Chester who are globally recognized for their smart energy and smart grid solutions require a Software Engineer to join their R&D team.  The business design and manufacture a wide range of solutions, from handheld power monitoring devices to desktop and web applications which provide real-time data to network energy providers.

The successful Software Engineer can expect to be working on new product development projects from day one and should be prepared to work throughout the full development cycle and be comfortable working on individual projects. You will be working alongside electronics, software and mechanical engineers towards the design of new products and will be involved in concept meetings, developing new software, updating existing code, debugging and software test.

Due to their continued success our client is again looking to grow the team and are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team. They work to a flexible hybrid WFH scheme allowing you to work from home 3 days a week.
