Position: Junior Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: Up to £40,000

Location of Office: Birmingham

The Role: A new role has now been created for a Junior Embedded Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team working towards the development of a host of cutting-edge software solutions for the automotive industry.

The successful Embedded Engineer will be joining a small team of like-minded engineers and have the chance to get stuck into new project work immediately. You will be given the chance to contribute through the full development life cycle and be given plenty of support and encouragement to develop new skills. The majority of your work will be working on RF technology-based products using Python and C++.

This role will best suit a recent academic who is keen to develop a range of modern software solutions and is keen to get stuck into work immediately and the aptitude to learn new skills and research the required technologies in order to complete complex tasks.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• MSc or PHD qualification – Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
• Experience with Python and C++
• Knowledge/experience of Embedded systems

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• RF technology – Bluetooth, WiFi and more
• Algorithm based development
• Experience re-engineering solutions
• Desire to learn new technologies
