Embedded Software Engineer- with BLDC Motor Control

LOCATION OF WORK: Fully remote working

CONTRACT LENGTH: 2 months initially

RATE: £40-45 per hour

 

THE ROLE:

An electronics company who specialises in electric transport require an Embedded Software Engineer with BLDC motor control knowledge to join the team.

You will be working on a new development for a single seated mode of transport, using electricity to power it.

You will working with the Electronics Engineer to develop prototypes using a variety of different MCU’s. This will help the business to decide which MCU is best fit.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Embedded C programming
• RTOS or Bare Metal development
• Knowledge of BLDC motor control methods
• Experience with as many of the following MCUs:
  • Atmel
  • Microchip
  • Texas Instruments (TI)
  • ST Microelectronics (STM)
• Comfortable working on new products developments
• Understanding of electronics

 

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

• Git, Jira or SVN
• MSP430, STM32
