Embedded Software Engineer

Our Devon based client who specialises in the design and development of ‘remote working solutions’ require an Embedded Software Engineer to join it’s team.
Remote working technology was high in demand prior to covid-19, but demand for the businesses cutting-edge and highly reliable solutions have increased significantly since the pandemic.
You will join a team of 3 embedded software engineers, with opportunity to work on new embedded software projects from concept through to release, working from device driver/ kernel level through to embedded application development.
The business develops remote workstation solutions for Windows, Linux and MacOS. At present, there is high customer demand for its MacOS solution. If you are an Embedded Software Engineer who has experience with MacOS (at kernel or application level) this would be highly desirable.
In this role you will have opportunity to work closely with the biggest IT companies in the world e.g. Dell, EMC, Intel and Apple.

- Embedded C
- Microcontroller/ Microprocessor experience (ideally ARM)
- Able to work at Device driver/ Kernel level (on Windows, Linux, MacOS or RTOS)
- Python test scripting skills
- Application development experience
- MacOS experience
