A telecommunications business that specialises in instant communications require an Embedded Software Engineer/ Architect to work on the development of a brand-new broadband push-to-talk solution. The solution you will be developing will connect various IoT devices into the radio network, so that critical events are communicated into the network at real-time.
For example, a push-to-talk channel which is connected to fire alarms, burglar alarms, cameras etc will allow customers to be communicated to in real-time when an event is triggered.
To be suitable for this role you should be an Embedded Engineer who has experience working at the early stages of a software project and is comfortable working on architect/ system level tasks.
Due to the nature of the project, it is important you have experience working on wireless/ telecommunication related software projects.
As the business will be developing customized push to talk solutions for each customer, it is desired that a Software platform is developed which can easily be adapted and modified for each customers solution, rather than developing from scratch each time. Experience developing software in this way is highly desirable.
