Embedded Software Engineer

Position: Embedded Engineer

Location of work: Fully Remote working

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

The Role: Due to continued growth our client is now seeking an Embedded Engineer to join their team working towards the development of their next generation products. They offer a very flexible remote working scheme and are offering the right Embedded Engineer the chance to work on a variety of exciting new products. You will be joining small team working in an agile environment, so the ability to work closely with other engineers and experience working throughout the full development lifecycle is required.

The successful Embedded Engineer will have proven experience in delivering well designed and functioning embedded software solutions, be strong with C and C++ programming, ideally have worked on a range of RTOS environments and with a host of networking and comms protocols (SPI, I2C, I2S, UARTS etc). You should expect to work throughout the full product lifecycle working closely with other team members. Any experience with wireless communication protocols including Bluetooth or experience with ARM processors would really make your CV stand out.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Embedded software design
• C/C++ programming
• RTOS experience– FreeRTOS, AzureRTOS, ThreadX etc
• I2C, SPI, I2S, UART, TCP/IP etc

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• ARM processors (STM32, Cortex-M)

• Bare-metal development
• Wireless protocols: Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, Thread etc
