Position: Embedded Software Engineer

Package includes: Salary of up to £60,000, 33 days flexi-holiday, flexitime, remote working, Healthcare plus excellent pension and bonus schemes

Location of office: Fully Remote Working

The Company: Our client, a leader in the development of autonomous driving applications and software tools are now seeking experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join their growing software engineering team, working on a fully remote basis

The role: You will be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining a range of software solutions for the autonomous vehicles sector. You will work as part of a growing team and be expected to contribute from requirements gathering through to software role out. You will be expected to focus on quality and functionality as the software solutions will be moving huge amounts of data in real time, and reliability is key to their success.

The ideal Embedded Engineer will be strong programming with both C and C++ and have proven experience in developing complex solutions in an Agile environment. This is the chance to join a new team focussed on new product development with an exciting product roadmap ahead of them. You will be building applications across a range of environments so experience with Linux, windows and embedded systems are all of interest.

The successful Software Engineers will be joining an established, expanding business who pride themselves in developing cutting edge software applications, working to modern development techniques and agile developments methods.

Skills and experience required:

• Embedded software development
• C/C++ programming
• Bare metal or RTOS
• Modern development processes
• Degree qualified – Computer science or similar

Desirable skills and experience:

• Hardware security modules
• Crypto stack
• Autosar
• Linux systems
