Role: Embedded Engineer

A new position has now been created for an Embedded Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team in their Leeds based offices. Our client develops a range of sensor-based solutions, gathering reliable data in real time that is then distributed to one of their end clients across multiple industries including the automotive, industrial automation and consumer electronics sectors. They are now embarking on the development of a new range of IoT solutions and as such are keen to add more embedded design experience to their team.

The ideal Embedded Engineer will be able to illustrate 3+ years industry experience in a similar role, enjoy working in a small team development environment and be comfortable working throughout the full software design life cycle. You will enjoy variety in your role and have good experience with Embedded C programming for Bare metal and RTOS and have experience with a range of microprocessors, ideally ARM, PIC or STM families. Whilst any experience with Assembler programming, PCB design or experience with protocols including SPI, I2C, RS485, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Zigbee will really make your CV standout.

Our client’s office is based in Leeds, and they offer hybrid working offering the chance to work remotely 2 days a week. They are a growing business working with several industry leading clients and are set to grow substantially in 2023 with a very healthy product roadmap ahead of them.

Their engineering team is made up of technical enthusiasts who are passionate about engineering and always looking to implement modern processes and use the most recent technology to develop reliable software solutions for their clients.
