Position: Embedded Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location of Office: Aberdeen

Location of Work: Hybrid WFH Available

The role: Our client is setting up a brand-new R&D hub in the Aberdeen area and are looking to add Embedded Engineers to the team. If you live within a commutable distance from the Aberdeen area and have 3+ years industry experience within an embedded design role, this could be the role for you. This new team will be a key function of a multinational business who design and develop specialist measurement devices and systems for multiple industries that are used around the globe.

Joining a new team focussed on new product development the successful Embedded Engineers will be working throughout the full design lifecycle from initial concept right the way through to completion. You will play a key role in all software aspects of the devices and have the opportunity to make a real impact in how new products are developed using modern technology and development processes.

Skills and experience required:

·       Embedded C programming

·       Bare metal development

·       ARM, NXP or Atmel microprocessors

·       RS232, RS485 protocols

Desirable skills and experience:

·       FPGA and VHDL development

·       Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules

·       Highspeed design

Package includes: Salary of up to £65,000 + pension, bonus and flexible working
