Position: Electronics Test Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Office Location: Blackburn

The Role: Our client, a leader in the design, development and production of a range of security systems are now looking for an Electronics Test Manager to join their Engineering Team. The successful Test Manager will play a critical role in assuring their electronic devices meet the required quality levels before they go for production.

The ideal Test Manager will have proven experience testing electronic devices and be able to take on a manager role whilst remaining technically hands on. You will have background in all things electronic testing, building and maintaining jigs, developing testing procedures, writing test code  and be able to experience taking a lead role or experience managing a small team of test engineers. Any experience with developing automated test development would make your CV standout.

In this role, you will be responsible for all PCB and product testing, including but not limited to the development and implementation of a comprehensive test strategy, maintaining internal standards, and managing the introduction of new test procedures and equipment across all products.

• Electronics product testing
• PCB testing
• Developing and implementing testing solutions for electronic products
• Writing test software procedures
• Leading a small team

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Python scripting
• Arduino boards
• Experience in a data driven environment
• Automated test development
