Position: Electronic Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000

Office Location: Enfield

Location of work: Flexible WFH Hybrid Model

The Role: An exciting opportunity has been created for an Electronic Engineer to join a growing engineering team, the successful Electronic Engineer will be working on a range of key products within the smart energy and sustainability sector. You will be given the chance to work on new product designs that will help improve the electricity network, connecting with EV chargers, solar panels and other smart devices. This will be a varied role where you will work closely with a growing engineering team of like-minded embedded and electronic engineers in a challenging and friendly environment. You core focus will cover a range of electronics design and development tasks for a range of industry leading products.

You can expect the role to involve designing digital and analogue circuit design, PCB layout, debugging and new circuit design. You will be working on the design of complex and regulated products so any experience writing code for safety critical or regulated industries is desirable whilst any experience with Proteus CAD software or EMC testing will make your CV standout. This role can be performed semi remotely, and the client are happy for the successful Electronic Engineer to work from home when appropriate. This role will best suit an electronic engineer who is enthusiastic about hardware development, enjoys variety in their role and the chance to work within a small engineering team throughout the full development life cycle.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Digital and Analogue circuit design

• PCB design and Layout

• Writing design documents and test procedures

• Modbus, TCP/IP, RS232, RS485 etc

Desirable Skill and Experience:

• Proteus or Cadence CAD software

• Embedded software

• Environmental testing or EMC
