Electronics Engineer
A new position has now been created for an Electronics Engineer to join our clients growing engineering team in the Stockport area. Our client designs a range of security products for the commercial aerospace sector and supply most of the industry’s leading companies with cutting edge electronic solutions. In this role the new Electronics Engineer can expect to be focussed on new projects whilst also supporting and updating legacy products.
Key Skills Required:
- Digital and analogue circuit design
- PCB design and schematic capture
- Full design life cycle experience
- EMC knowledge or design for EMC experience
The successful Electronics Engineer will be joining a small design team and as such should enjoy the variety of day-to-day tasks that will be involved and the chance to work closely within a team design environment. You will have the chance to design products starting with a blank piece of paper and contribute to the full design lifecycle including; design, prototyping, documentation and in house testing.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Regulated industry experience – aerospace, medical, automotive etc
- Video electronics experience
- Altium or Pads Pro
Our client’s office is in Stockport and this role will be office based in their state-of-the-art facilities, they have onsite parking and there are only a short walk from a mainline station. Making them commutable via the likes of Altrincham, Macclesfield, Manchester, Oldham and Ashton-under-Lyne to name a few.
This role will best suit electronics engineer with good industry experience in a similar role who is keen to get involved in the design and development of bespoke products for the commercial aerospace sector that are used around the globe.
