A Cambridge based consultancy has been tasked with developing an electronics device that monitors the wellbeing of animals (both pets and livestock).
The electronic device is to use cutting edge audio technology to listen to animals. This audio data is analysed and processed with the results being displayed on a mobile and web application.
This real-time data analysis ensures that any issues an animal might be having is picked up at the earliest stage possible.
You will be the sole Electronics Design Engineer on the project team developing a device that is used in people’s homes to listen to pet dogs and cats.
The product you will be designing will be a high-volume manufactured product and is required to operate at a low power.
The product will use Analogue and Digital circuitry and will use wireless communication protocols such as BLE and WiFi to connect to smart home speakers as well as mobile devices.
