Position: Electronics Software Engineer

Location of Office: Chesterfield

Salary: Up to £45,000

The role: A position is now available for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a client in their Chesterfield based offices. Our client design, develop and manufacture a range of electronic products for the healthcare sector with a focus on sensory solutions. This is a chance to join a business using modern technology for good, building products that improve the lives of millions of people around the globe.

This role is for an Electronics Engineer who has the ability to work across analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout, circuit prototyping, Embedded programming and test. This role will be ideal for an Electronics Engineer who is looking to work in a range of electronics disciplines with a keen eye for detail who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

You will be working in a small team so can expect plenty of variety in the role and chance to take products from concept through to manufacture. You will get the chance to develop brand new products whilst updating some of their core product range. Is this role you will have the autonomy to select the required components necessary and take ownership of all thing’s electronics and embedded software design.

Skills Required:

• Digital and analogue circuit design
• PCB layout and schematic capture
• Circuit prototyping and test
• Embedded programming C, C++ or Assembler
• Debugging and fault finding
