Position: Electronic Engineer

Location of Office: Leeds

Salary: Up to £60,000 + 10% pension, flexi-time and more

The Role: A new position has now been created for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our client’s engineering team as they work to develop a new innovative range of products. Our client develops state of the art controls and monitoring solutions that are used around the globe.

In this role the successful Electronics Engineer will be joining a small design team and will be given the opportunity to contribute throughout the full design cycle, using modern design practices whilst having the chance to develop new skills across a range of exciting new projects.

You will be designing electronic devices that are used for controlling, monitoring and collecting data from a range of innovative hardware devices. So experience across the full design lifecycle with a range of electronic design techniques including analogue and digital circuits, PCB design microcontroller development whilst any experience with power electronics or high voltage power design would really make your CV stand out.

This role will best suit an Electronics Engineer who is looking for variety in their daily tasks, enjoys working throughout the full life cycle and is able to manage their own time and workload.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Analogue and digital circuit DESIGN
• PCB design and schematics
• Microcontroller development in C
• Use of test tools such as oscilloscopes, DMM, signal generator, power supplies etc.
• Design for EMC

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Power electronics
• High voltage power design and conversion
