Position: Electronic Design Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: Newcastle

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and develop bespoke solutions that drive sustainability and help companies reduce their carbon footprints.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, playing a vital role in the design and development plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analogue circuit design
• Digital circuit design
• PCB design and layout
• Working with protocols such as Ethernet, CANbus, SPI, I2C, etc.

Working closely with other electronics and software design engineers, you will actively participate in design meetings and collaborate within a small team. Your contributions will span various electronic design aspects, including PCB design, schematic capture, analogue and digital circuits, and some microcontroller design. You will work on updating and maintaining existing legacy products, as well as designing new products for future generations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Embedded C programming (desirable)
• Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Experience with Renesas microprocessors
