Position: C++ Software Engineer

Location of Office: Warrington

Salary: Up to £45,000

• Degree qualified in a relevant science or engineering subject

The Role: A new role has now been created for a C++ Software Engineer to join our clients growing R&D team as they continue to develop industry leading devices and solutions for the scientific market. Our client has a strong reputation in the market and have been successfully developing solutions in this industry for over 30 years.

They are now growing the software team and looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join the team to work on new projects whilst also updating existing code and products that are in use. The ideal Software Engineer will be degree qualified and have 2+ years industry experience where they have been developing code in C and C++ ideally in embedded or Linux environments, whilst any experience or knowledge of electronics or scientific industry specific products would be make your CV standout.

The successful Software Engineer will get the chance to work closely within a small team of experienced engineers and be given the chance to contribute throughout the full development life cycle and get the opportunity to develop your skills set and learn new programming and development technologies.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Electronics design knowledge
• Embedded C programming
• Python
• Experience in a scientific environment
