C++ Linux Software Engineer

Position: Modern C++ Linux Software Engineer

Location of work: Fully remote working

Rate: Up to £63.75 per hour (inside IR35)

Contract length: 12 months initially

The Project:

A C++ Software Engineer with Linux development experience is required for an initial 12 month contract which is highly likely to extend.

You will be working on a brand-new real time monitoring system development for autonomous vehicles.

You will be responsible for writing Modern C++ code on Linux to take packets of real-time sensor information and send it wirelessly to the cloud where AI and Machine Learning technology will be applied to the data.

For this role you should be confident writing in Modern C++ on Linux. Having experience of C++ 17 is highly desirable, but C++ 11, 14 and 20 experience is acceptable.

It is expected that this monitoring system will be the system that all autonomous vehicle manufacturers will use in the future. This is an opportunity for you to be part of this forefront development.
