Position: Automotive Test Engineer

Location of Office: Antrim

Location of work: Office based

Salary: Up to £60,000

The Role: Our industry leading client is growing again and with this growth comes the need for a new Test Engineer lead the design, development and implementation for all phases of product development for a new range of EV charging related devices and software solutions.

The successful Test Engineer will lead the testing of diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

You will coordinate the labour, schedules and equipment required for testing for evaluating both standard and special devices. Ensuring that programs follow standards for strong laboratory practices, quality manufacturing practices.

You will be responsible for setting the parameters and testing customer samples.

Skills and Experience:

• Testing or verification experience
• Experience in writing test plans
• Automated or manual test framework experience

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Automotive experience
• Experience with testing in a safety critical or regulated environment
• Proven ability in the use of Vector CANoe and vTEST Studio
• Experience using Atlassian JIRA for Bug Resolution Management
• MATLAB
• Labview
