SALARY: Up to £50,000

A new position has now created for an Analog Electronics Engineer to join a growing R and Development focused business in the Trafford Park area. The successful candidate will be joining a small design team with the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Engineers as they develop bespoke, industry leading equipment within the instrumentation sector.
The successful Analog Electronics Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager. You will be tasked with leading the electronics design aspects on new projects whilst also modifying existing products when required, including prototyping, simulation, design and in house testing. Experience in a similar role with project responsibility is desired and your core experience will be built around analog circuit design and power design. (SMPS) It is also important you are a strong communicator and comfortable working closely with other members of the Engineering team and liaising with customers as and when required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A Degree within a relevant engineering discipline
- Analog circuit design
- Power electronics design – SMPS
- High precision, low noise and high frequency design
- PCB design for high voltage and high frequency.
- Transistor/component level design
- A background in a scientific research environment
